School-Based Mental Health Therapist

Full time/year-round position, providing outpatient mental health services to Medicaid eligible youth and families enrolled in Deer Park School District. Service modalities include, but are not limited to intake, brief intervention treatment, family treatment, group treatment, individual treatment, case management, medication monitoring, and therapeutic psychoeducation.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Graduate degree in counseling, behavioral sciences, or related field.
  • Ability to obtain Washington State Mental Health Professional credential.
  • Department of Health credential or ability to obtain DOH credential in counseling or social work.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Social Worker
  • Child Mental Health Specialist

Pay Rate

$60,000-$65,000 starting rate

Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.


Direct Care Staff

Part time positions available working with 12-17-year-old at risk-youth in a short-term residential shelter. At this facility, we have the pleasure of providing a safe and positive place to stay, connecting youth to community resources and participating in case planning. As a member of our friendly team, you will supervise youth activities, support youth in day to day routines, utilize behavior management skills, and keep accurate records. Training in these areas will be provided upon hire, and continued training is offered. This is a great opportunity to gain experience to support careers in behavioral health, school counseling, and other non-profit or government social service positions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • One year of paid experience working in group residential care OR two years of college studies
  • Staff are required to pass a DCYF criminal background check and drug test. YFA Connections is a federally funded agency, therefore, we are a drug free facility.
  • Candidates are required to complete paid orientation training, including CPR/First Aid.
  • Candidates will be at least 21 years of age.

Pay Rate

$20.00 per hour regular shifts, $21.00 per hour graveyard shifts
